HFC is open to families regardless of race, political affiliation, religious ~preference, homeschool style, parenting style, etc;
HFC will not encourage, support, or share divisive information/events: race/ethnicity specific,
HFC does not encourage, share or support engagement of divisive information, events, topics or judgmental discussions such as:
- homeschool styles or curriculum choices
- parenting styles/decisions
- political choices/topics
- religious/secular choices
- race/ethnicity specific events/info/groups targeted specifically to exclude any other demographic
- covid vaccine/mask choices
- lifestyle choices/gender identity/pronoun preferences, etc.
Parents are responsible for avoiding these topics and instructing their children that initiating these discussions with other students during HFC events is not appropriate. If/when these topics are introduced is each family’s choice/decision.
ALL of us have the right and responsibility to agree to disagree with others respectfully, and to model this practice for our children. Mutual respect, without judgement, whether you agree/disagree with another person/family is our requirement.
